Google breaks off device sales from Google Play with new Google Store

If you’re looking to purchase devices from Google, say goodbye to Google Play and hello to Google Store. In an email sent out to previous device purchases, Google explains that devices are now sold via the Google Store.

The Google Store is your new destination for devices, while Google Play will continue to serve as your hub for apps, games and other digital entertainment.

As far as checkout experience, support, etc. That will all remain familiar to those who have purchased devices via Google Play.
